This book and the ramification of our sub-culture will not allow the recreating lives of black youth and their absentee fathers to be classified as a work of fiction nor just another autobiography of Black urban existence. This work of factual experiences that are repeated in our once communities with the father and son can be look at as neither another fiction story nor another autobiography. This work of social study showcases real examples of intergenerational incarceration that was passed on by the glorification of the previously released inmate story tellers. With their captivating demeanor of heath knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. These mentor serve as the socially un-adjusted educator and leaders. These men that lived way down on the other side of good would be our points of reference.This urban sub-culture required the same virtues and qualities promoted by adults and youth in other neighbors that were able to see their peers returning from Colleges and Universities. Their early idealistic concepts were their point of reference.

 

Unlike any other existence, having been deprived of many of the material substances for better life greed becomes a dis-ease and it’s the only disease that can not to be cured. This is a punishing population for this myopic thinking. It’s like snatching a pawn which looks like an immediate lead but is worthless if it causes your life or freedom.
